Scarce small size WW2 RAF escape and evasion cap/tunic button. Developed by escape and evasion expert Christopher Clayton Hutton at MI9, this looks like a standard brass button by J.R.Gaunt but the back can be unscrewed using a fine left handed thread to reveal a carefully concealed compass.
