Officially sectioned 1917 dated No.36 MkI. Body marked ' R ' beneath lever indicating probable manufacture by Revo of Tipton with a base plug marked ' E.A.R. ' ? Very much ' out of the woodwork ' find with some corrosion to both lever and ring and the base plug firmly ensconced. Some areas of surface corrosion with 60% of interior red finish. Gilt and enamel 40 Years Faithful Service Medal contained in the box of issue. Medal in good bright condition with some fading to ribbon. Case has marking , staining and rubbing with, presumably, the original owner's name inscribed to the lining. read more
