A very nice example of this award, and as it has ‘swords’ was given to a combatant or someone directly involved in the war. It has 98% of the original dull gilded finish, with a little green verdigris on the reverse arm.It has the original full length of ribbon, as issued. Good looking medal.  read more

Hood, Camo, Gas Protective, Canadian, 1942.

Made in Canada for all British Forces during WWII, these waterproofed cotton head and shoulder covers in a camouflage pattern were designed to be worn under the standard steel helmet.
