WW1 German egg hand grenade 1917 new model. A good clean example with 65% of it's original black finish fitted with a lead alloy transportation plug with leather washer. The new model differed from it's predecessor in having a cast segmented ring around it's centre to aid grip and fragmentation effect.INERT
