UNALTERED, ORIGINAL PAINT M16 WW1 GERMAN STEEL HELMET.
A text-book helmet being the early M16 type helmet with the plied leather stitched headband. Leather is 100% original and although a little frail, is still all complete. One of the original linen liner 'cushon pads' is still there, the other two are lost to time. Helmet has perhaps 85% of the ORIGINAL green paint to the exterior and more to the interior. Two piece aluminium Wehrmacht Heer or Army buckle. Crisply struck, lightweight buckle more usually associated with the parade belt, this example has the centre attached by four tabs. In excellent, clean condition with signs of wear to the reverse. Non maker marked. read more

Grouping to W/O J.A.Walker who was a W/Op / A/G with 51 Squadron and was shot down in Whitley Z6487 on 19/07/1941 on a mission to Hannover. Group consists of a Caterpillar badge inscribed ' Sgt.J.A.Walker ', RAF service and release book marked POW, RAF cap badge, an annotated, 1942 dated photograph of Walker in a group in a prison camp, 39-45 Star and War Medal with award slip. Three piece construction, cotton NSDAP, double sided drape or flag. Sown sleeve to one end to allow a pole to be passed through. Accompanied by a photograph of British troops at the Menin Gate that was acquired with the flag. Flag in reasonable condition with some stains and one tear. read more

A Parachute Regiment Uniform grouping consisting of a privately tailored B.D. Blouse, beret and stable belt. B.D. Blouse is made from a fine wool with concealed buttons and a fake silk full lining. WW1 Turkish Cavalry Sabre.
Good scarce example with a steel guard, pierced with a star and crescent, chequered horn grips with a thumb groove to the top, a pipe-back blade, approx. 33" in length, this has Turkish markings to the ricasso, complete with its steel scabbard. In good overall condition with traces of a field gray paint finish to scabbard and guard. Minor surface corrosion with a small dent to scabbard. read more
WW2 Queen Victoria's Rifles Officer's Cap.
An excellent example of a WW2 Officer's cap for the Queen Victoria's Rifles. By the time of WW2 QVR formed two battalions of the KRRC. Cap is made from a particularly fine cloth with a QVR Officer's boss badge , horn buttons and patent leather strap.
