WW II Blenheim crash trophy.
Propeller tip trophy from the crash of a Blenheim IV of 110(Hyderabad) Squadron. This particular aircraft crashed on take off on 30/08/1941 at Wattisham piloted by a Sgt.Noseda. The propeller tip displays clear signs of the crash and appears to have broken off. The tip retains 50% of it's original paint finish with the details of the crash scratched into the paint. OSS Tyre spike or Caltrop.
Based on a medieval design to stop horses this WW II OSS designed Caltrop was intended to puncture tyres with the intention of bringing a vehicle to a halt enabling it to be ambushed. Designed so one of the four chisel edged prongs always faced upwards. In good condition with some very minor areas of surface corrosion ( easily removeable ). Scarce item. read more

1938 dated, RAD cap device for enlisted man's 'Robin Hood' cap. Dated and manufacturer marked to the reverse in good clean condition. read more
WW1 Official casualty photographs.
15 Official photographs depicting both British and German dead where they fell on the battlefield. Most appear to be unpublished images, all annotated to the reverse, some in considerable detail with map coordinates, dates, locations and nearest British unit. Images are all clear with average size being approx. 16cm x 11cm. Highly unusual and uncommon archive.

1942 dated Cap Comforter.
Beloved of early Commando units, the woollen cap comforter was considered essential issue to all troops serving in the UK. By 1942 however, the scale of issue had been reduced but was retained by many of the field force units including the Commandos.
This example is in mint, unissued condition with clear manufacturer's markings and date, 1942. No moth. read more

Black Wound badge and LDO packet.
Good example of a 1339 pattern black wound badge in it's LDO marked packet of issue. Hollow stamped with a semi-gloss black paint finish this example is not maker marked. The packet of issue too is not maker marked but is marked LDO to the front with the LDO guarantee to the reverse. One stain to the front of the packet otherwise excellent example. read more
WW1 Russian stick grenade.
Scarce WW1 Russian grenade designed by Col.Orlov. Galvanised steel body with an inner fragmentation sleeve with a brass sleeve to accomodate a black powder type fuze. The top of the grenade is held in place by two tabs, whilst the body sits on top of a wooden handle. An uncommon example.
