Original WW1 British No 80 MkI Drill fuze, an example of a time and percussion fuze usually used with the British shrapnel projectiles of 18-pounder Field-Guns. Unusually, as No.80 fuzes are not uncommon, this is an official DRILL example manufactured by Royal Laboratories with alloy nose cap marked ' DRILL ' with felt washers between each stage. Fully dismantles.

Well used and characterful R.A.F. Officers service dress cap by Burberry. Approx. size 7 with roan leather headband, silk lining with prominent Burberry label. Bullion officer's badge with gilt eagle with a now cracked patent leather strap. A couple of minor nips, one hidden by strap and one to underside of peak.
