Standard 3rd Patt handle with ' 2 ' mold number to the top, blackened finish now largely absent with some bruising and knocks. Interesting Memorial Plaque to a casualty on board HMS Broke and the 2nd Battle of the Dover Strait 1917. J/24972 Able Seaman Christopher Frank Samways was a member of the crew of the Faulkner class destroyer HMS Broke. Royal Naval issue Admiralty Pattern Spit Chronograph.15 Jewell Swiss movement, unsigned but probably by Lemania, contained in a nickel case with broad arrow and issue number to reverse.
