Red wool armband with separately applied BeVo weave swastika on white disc. A good used example of the standard red/white Party armband, used by many Third Reich organisations, slightly grubby with two stains to swastika background. Remains of stitching where the armband was probably tacked to a greatcoat or uniform sleeve. read more

German WW2 second pattern pith helmet. Olive drap felt construction with field gray chinstrap and rim strengthening. Aluminium pith helmet eagle and national colour shields, red felt lining with a leather headband marked with size, 56 , maker marked ' M 'and date 1942, penned initials to sweatband. Shows signs of light use with some very minor dents and abrasions. read more

The samples display all the options available to clients of Gale & Polden with samples of embossing, photographic inserts, gilding and card types. Complete 6Pdr. round for the Q.F.Hotchkiss 6Pdr, 6Cwt Mk.II gun as carried by most marques of British Male tanks. Unfired projectile with residual paint and some markings combined with a brass case with a residual and difficult to make out head stamp. The sign is in excellent condition with the exception of the lower edge and one corner that has clearly suffered from water damage causing staining see images.
