RAF tissue paper escape map - Abyssinia

Approx. 46 x 46cm. Scale 1 : 2,000,000. Sheet 0 Abyssinia up to the borders of Kenya. Created by Clayton Hutton of MI9 using wood pulp from a Mulberry tree, these maps were incredibly thin and light. As a result these maps were strong, silent to use and could be concealed in much smaller spaces than the equivalent silk map.
