Silk belt with ties ( approx.110cms ) with exhortations to confer good luck on the wearer going to war. It appeared that this item was originally a double sided banner painted to one side with various characters and temple chop marks. 1940 dated 1919 Patt. belt by the Mills Equipment Company accompanied with the large '37 Patt holster that would accommodate the Colt 1911 .45 Auto. Holster similarly 1940 dated and manufacturer marked indicating manufacture by the Mills Equipment Co. Both items in clean condition with a slight nibble to the reverse of the belt. read more
