Well used and characterful R.A.F. Officers service dress cap by Burberry. Approx. size 7 with roan leather headband, silk lining with prominent Burberry label. Bullion officer's badge with gilt eagle with a now cracked patent leather strap. A couple of minor nips, one hidden by strap and one to underside of peak. Die-cast metal badge in a matt grey finish. The badge features a striking design of an eagle with downswept wings, that form the shape of the badge. At the base is a swastika within a circular wreath. There is a central inscription reading ' FRANKENTAG HESSELBERG 1939 '. SOE/Special Forces Switch No.4 igniter.

Switch No.4 ( Type 6 Pull Switch ). Widely used igniter by both SOE and Special forces employing a simple striker mechanism triggered by pulling on the rear loop. Switch has swivelling mounting bracket which enables it to be used with a tripwire and comes with a screw in spring snout to receive safety fuze. Good, clean condition.
