4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) Photographs 1941-43.
45 x b/w photographs showing scenes of the 4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) during service in the Western Desert in 1941 and some scenes in Italy in 1943 in Shermans. The Regiment went on to fight a hard campaign in Normandy before amalgamating with 3CLY in August 1944. Good, clear images most being 95mm x 65mm ' Brownie ' type images with some minor creasing etc. read more

A good example of a SD cap for an officer with the rank of Brigadier. 1945 dated by Hobson & Sons this example was previously the property of Brigadier W.E.Underhill of the Leicester Regt. who was made Acting Brigadier in 1944 and was active in NW Europe during 1944/45 commanding 102 Reinforcement Group and then 16th L of C around Ghent.
