This has taken me 3 months to track down after being offered it in January this year. Directly from the 60 year old son of the veteran, and still wrapped in the old wall paper where it was kept in a drawer. ORIGINAL WAFFEN SS MARKED CHINA SAUCER.
Unfortunately I do not have the cup to go with this, but it is the first time I have found a piece of china marked for the exclusive use of the Waffen SS! A small white chine saucer in perfect condition. Marked underneath in green 'WAFFEN SS' with a dragon makers mark and 1942 date. If you collect SS items, this is one for you. read more
FS 2ND PATTN. KNIFE COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED, AS FOUND B2 MARKED.
If you like as used and as found items, this is for you. Purchased this week, was part of a lot belonging to British airborne private in Ox and Bucks. Landed in glider at D-day +1, Pegasus Bridge area. The FS knife is not mint, but is complete and shows age commensurate with 70 years in an attic. WW1 Imperial Casualty Grouping.
Dog tag and paperwork concerning a 1914 casualty of the 3 M.G.K. OF J.R.460, Ernst Kurz. Includes an official card from the Prussian War Ministry informing of death and then correspondence from Kurz's father concerning the payment of a pension. Letter also indicates Kurz was awarded an EKI. Worthy of more research, unusual. read more
