THIRD REICH ’DEUTCHE WEHRMACHT’ ARMBAND.

Worn by civilian employees in the German army. This distinctive armband is in yellow cotton with the lettering DEUTCHE WEHRMACHT in black bevo cotton lettering. There is an official area army administration stamp from the OLDENBERG area on the front. Armband has been cut at the back, so you can’t wear it any more!!!  read more

Wrist compass - R.M.Commando interest.

Brass compass mounted on to a wrist strap. Possibly WW1 in origin and manufactured by Hill & Son of Haymarket, London producers of quality sporting and exploring products. Inscribed to the leather is an indistinct inscription ' CHX 100241 SGT T.Smith Royal Marine Commando ' ( This is my best interpretation of the inscription ).
